Another week has come and gone, and as usual, the tech world has delivered a fresh batch of exciting new gadgets and product announcements.
Over the past seven days, Samsung unveiled its latest foldable smartphones, Kodak launched a new $35 film camera, and Quad introduced a new entry-level hi-fi speaker lineup designed to make premium audio more accessible.
And that’s only the beginning.
Below, we’ve rounded up the most interesting product releases and announcements you may have missed this week.
Kodak EC35

The Kodak EC35 is the most affordable Kodak-branded 35mm film camera yet, offering a simple and budget-friendly way for beginners to get into analog photography.
It sits below Kodak’s $99 Snapic A1, which launched in late 2025, and features a 25mm lens with a fixed f/10 aperture and fixed 1/100-second shutter speed.
The camera includes a sliding lens cover for protection and a built-in flash powered by AA batteries. It uses Kodak Ultramax 400 film, which is sold separately.
Designed for casual photographers who want to experiment with film without spending much money, the EC35 comes in seven different color options.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8

Samsung has been the dominant force in foldable smartphones for years, offering more experience and variety than almost any other Android manufacturer.
Its latest generation of foldables includes several refinements, but the Galaxy Z Fold 8 stands out with a completely redesigned “square” or “wide” form factor.
The change is significant because it closely matches the rumored design direction of Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone, expected later this year.
The Fold 8 features a 5.5-inch cover display that should make messaging and watching content more comfortable without opening the device. When expanded, the larger 7.6-inch display remains ideal for multitasking and tablet-style use.

Quad Elegan 1

Quad’s new Elegan 1 bookshelf speakers are designed to bring the company’s respected hi-fi sound quality to a more accessible price point.
The two-way bass-reflex speakers combine a 1-inch fabric dome tweeter with a 6.4-inch woven Kevlar woofer that handles bass and midrange frequencies.
Quad says the Elegan 1 is designed to pair perfectly with its recently launched 3 Series components, including the 33 preamplifier and 303 amplifier.

Quad Elegan 2

The Elegan 2 expands the new lineup with a larger floorstanding design.
Unlike the two-way Elegan 1, the Elegan 2 uses a three-way configuration featuring the same 1-inch fabric dome tweeter, an additional 6.4-inch woven Kevlar woofer, and a dedicated midrange driver.
According to Quad, the speaker is engineered to reproduce music naturally, allowing recordings to sound more spacious, realistic and emotional.

Cayin CP6

The Cayin CP6 brings a modern twist to portable CD players by combining classic physical media playback with modern wireless features.
It includes a rechargeable battery, built-in Bluetooth with LDAC support, and Raytheon JAN6418 vacuum tubes that allow listeners to switch between three different sound modes.
The player also features a high-resolution DAC, a Class A headphone amplifier, and two headphone outputs: a standard 3.5mm connection and a balanced 4.4mm port.
That combination makes it compatible with a wide range of wired headphones while giving listeners more control over their preferred sound.

Light Flip

Light Phone has built its reputation around minimalist “dumb” phones designed to reduce digital distractions and help users escape endless scrolling.
The Light Flip follows that same philosophy but introduces the company’s first-ever flip phone design, inspired by classic Motorola Razr-style devices.
Like other Light phones, it focuses only on essential features, including calling, texting, navigation, alarms and music.
The device comes bundled with a phone plan starting at $39/month and will be available in six colors: black, red, yellow, pink, navy blue and light gray.
Shipping is expected to begin in April 2027.
Monitor Audio Hyphn Custom Editions

Monitor Audio’s Hyphn is already one of the company’s most ambitious loudspeakers.
Originally released in 2023, the flagship floorstanding speaker was positioned as the British hi-fi brand’s “most creatively ambitious, technically advanced” speaker ever and carries a $99,000 price tag.
Now, Monitor Audio is expanding customization options with more than 200 available finishes, including gloss, matte and metallic treatments.
The goal is to allow owners to create a speaker that matches their personal interior design and listening environment.

Samsung Freestyle+

Samsung’s newest smart projector for 2026, the Freestyle+, is designed to make portable projection easier than ever.
It can deliver a 100-inch 1080p image and uses AI-powered technology to automatically detect the projection surface, adjust colors and brightness, and optimize the image quality.
Essentially, Samsung is removing much of the traditional setup process that makes projectors frustrating for beginners.
While the Freestyle+ is powered, Samsung also offers a separate Freestyle Battery Base that allows users to take it outdoors without needing a power outlet.

Edifier MR4.5

The Edifier MR4.5 sits between the company’s entry-level MR4 and flagship MR5 studio monitors.
The powered speakers use a bi-amp design, meaning separate amplifiers independently power the 1-inch tweeters and 4-inch mid-bass drivers.
The system delivers 80 watts of total power, with 30 watts dedicated to each mid-bass driver and 10 watts to each tweeter.
For connectivity, the main speaker includes balanced XLR inputs for professional setups, along with RCA and 3.5mm auxiliary inputs for traditional desktop and hi-fi systems.
A front-facing headphone jack is also included for private listening.
