Beyerdynamic has long been one of the biggest names in wired headphones. Its “Pro” series, in particular, has earned a strong reputation among musicians, audio engineers and hi-fi enthusiasts thanks to its combination of reliable build quality and professional-grade sound.
Most headphones in the Pro lineup typically fall between $150 and $300. Now, the respected German audio manufacturer is adding a new model that brings many of those professional features to a more affordable price point.

The DT 275 Pro are closed-back, on-ear wired headphones designed for audio professionals who need reliable monitoring in noisy environments, including sound engineers, content creators and DJs.
According to Beyerdynamic, the headphones combine “high passive noise isolation, neutral sound tuning, and long-wearing comfort in a lightweight, travel-friendly design.”
The company says they are built for “fast and reliable audio control in professional, mobile workflows,” making them suitable for studio work as well as on-the-go production.
Class-Leading Passive Noise Isolation
On-ear headphones typically aren’t known for strong passive noise isolation. Because they sit directly on the ears instead of surrounding them completely, outside sounds can usually enter more easily compared with traditional over-ear designs.
However, Beyerdynamic designed the DT 275 Pro to overcome that limitation. The headphones provide up to 22 dBA of passive noise attenuation, which the company claims is among the best available for closed-back, on-ear headphones.

For sound quality, the DT 275 Pro uses custom 40mm dynamic drivers tuned for a balanced and neutral listening experience.
Beyerdynamic says the headphones are designed to provide “honest signal assessment without coloration, even at high volume levels,” making them ideal for users who need accurate sound reproduction rather than exaggerated bass or boosted highs.
With a low 45-ohm impedance, the DT 275 Pro is also easy to drive and works well with a wide range of devices, from professional audio equipment to everyday laptops and mobile devices.
